The Administration for Children and
Families (ACF) Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE)
seeks approval to collect a revised set of performance measures
which were previously approved under OMB Contol #0970-0398, for the
Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP). We seek a
separate Control # (rather than an update/reapproval of the
previous ICR), since the previous collection was part of a
comprehensive descriptive/evaluative effort of the first cohort of
PREP programs (funded FYs 2010-2015). The new ICR is associated
with a new, and anticipated ongoing, effort to collect data from
all PREP grantees. ACF is seeking approval to collect performance
measures across all PREP programming (i.e., State PREP, Competitive
PREP, Tribal PREP, and Personal Responsibility Education –
Innovative Strategies (PREIS)) and to collect a small set of
additional “core measures” for local evaluations for PREIS
grantees. This approval will support PREP-funded programs in
collecting and reporting their performance data through the PREP
data warehouse.
