The purpose of this collection is to
verify that shelled garden peas from Kenya meet USDA phytosanitary
requirements for import into the continental United States. In
order to be eligible for importation, the peas would have to be
shelled, washed, and inspected and accompanied by a phytosanitary
certificate issued by the National Plant Protection Organization of
Kenya.
This reinstatement is a program
change of 2 respondents, 2 annual responses, and 2 burden hours.
New burden in this collection that was inadvertently omitted in the
previous collection is the declaration that peas have been shelled,
washed, and inspected by the business.
