Tenant data is collected understand
demographic, family profile, income, and housing information for
participants in the Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice
Voucher, Section 8 Project Based Certificate, Section 8 Moderate
Rehabilitation, and Moving to Work Demonstration programs. This
data also allows HUD to monitor the performance of programs and the
performance of public housing agencies that administer the
programs.
The 83-I from 2013 was
incorrect and stated that there were 35 MTW agencies when in fact
there were 39 at the time. The current 83-I (attached) reflects
that there are 39 MTW agencies, which results in increased burden
hours from the 2013 approval. The correct number of burden hours is
1,104,087.
