in the Interagency Statement involve the types of policies and
procedures already adopted by the large banking institutions that
participate in developing complex structured finance transactions
for customers. The statement describes the types of internal
controls and risk management procedures that the banking agencies
(OCC, FRB, FDIC) believe are particularly effective in helping
financial institutions identify and address risks associated with
complex structured finance transactions.
