The accreditation of commercial testing laboratories; approval of commercial gaugers are used by individuals or businesses desiring CBP approval to measure bulk products or analyze importations may apply to CBP by letter. This approval is required of businesses wishing to perform such work on imported merchandise.

CBP also raised the number of record keepers from 100 to 180 As a result, the burden hours associated with this collection were reduced from 225 to 190.
