Inspections of Agricultural and
Vegetable seed are made at the request of the seed trade or the
general public. The main purpose of the voluntary program is to
document the quality of seed being marketed, especially seed being
exported.
There is a decrease in the
number of respondents due to the strong U.S. dollar and the weak
U.S. farming economy. We expect the number of respondents applying
for the service and the number of applications per respondent to
make a gradual increase.
