SECTION 5 - TROUBLED DEBT RESTRUCTURED LOANS - Complete this section if the credit union has any TDR loans outstanding.
Report loans that qualify under generally accepted accounting principles as troubled debt restructurings (TDRs). TDRs are loans for which the credit union, for economic or legal reasons related to a borrower's financial difficulties, grants a concession to the borrower
that it would not otherwise consider. Refer to FASB Accounting Standards Codification 310-40. These loans should also be reported as part of the overall balances in the appropriate category on the Statement of Financial Condition (page 2); in Schedule A, Section 2
for real estate loans; in Schedule A, Section 4 for business loans; and on pages 7 and 8, if delinquent. See Delinquent Loan instructions for information regarding TDR delinquency reporting.
