Who must comply?

Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline Operators, Hazardous Liquid Transmission Pipeline Operators, Natural Gas Distribution Pipeline Operators, Liquefied Natural Gas Facility Operators, and Pipeline Operators that transport materials categorized as Toxic Inhalation Hazards (TIH) may voluntarily provide the information.

What is this collection about?

This information collection request that Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline Operators, Hazardous Liquid Transmission Pipeline Operators, Natural Gas Distribution Pipeline Operators, Liquefied Natural Gas Facility Operators, and Pipeline Operators that transport materials categorized as Toxic Inhalation Hazards (TIH) notify the Transportation Security Operation Center (TSOC) as soon as possible following a security incident, or if there is other reason to believe that a security incident may be planned or may have occurred

Where do I find the requirements for this information?

Aviation and Transportation Security Act (Public Law 107-71); Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007, P. L. 110-53 (9/11 Act), Sections 1557 and 1558.

When must information be submitted to the TSA?

Information must be submitted to the TSOC as soon as possible following a security incident or suspected security incident.

How is the information submitted?

Notification should be made to the Transportation Security Operation Center (TSOC) via phone at 866-615-5150 or email at TSOC.ST@dhs.gov following a security incident or suspected security incident.

What happens when complete information is received?

Once notification of a known or suspected pipeline security incident is received, the TSOC will continue to monitor and analyze the event, and provide incident coordination activities, if required.
