The NASA Contracting Financial Reporting System is the basic financial medium for contractor reporting of estimated and incurred costs. The information collected provides NASA with data necessary to project costs and ensure Contractor performance is planned and Reports are necessary supported by dollar and labor resources. The data provided by these reports is an integral part of the Agency's accrural accounting and cost-based budgeting systems required under 31 U.S.C3512(e).
