In the event an employee is injured
while operating a mechanical power press, 29 CFR 1910.217(g)
requires an employer to provide information to OSHA regarding the
accident. This information includes the employer's and employee's
name, the type of clutch, the type of safeguard(s) used, the cause
of the accident, the means to actuate the press stroke, and the
number of operators involved.

adjustment decrease of 53 burden hours (from 453 to 400 hours).
This decrease is a result of a decline in the number of workers, in
the past three years, being injured while operating mechanical
