Application forms are to be used by
the applicants under the Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Program
which provides opportunities for U.S. educators to participate in
short-term study seminars abroad in the subject areas of the social
sciences, social studies and the humanities. The changes suggested
are minor, i.e. updating language to reflect the current seminars
being offered and the electronic system being used to accept
applications. A reduction in burden from the previously approved
collection is anticipated as program funding cuts have decreased
the numbers of applicants. In addition, the number of references
that applicants are being asked to submit has been reduced from
three to two.
