2013 National Resources Inventory – Conservation Effects Assessment Project
Thank You Letter Template
[DATE]
Dear Mr. / Mrs. [NAME],
Thank you for participating in the 2013 National Resources Inventory – Conservation Effects Assessment Project (CEAP) survey. Your response is important to making this survey a success and we greatly appreciate your support.
Your participation in the CEAP survey helps ensure there is a complete picture of conservation practices in the Sacramento River Watershed/San Joaquin River Watershed/Tulare Lake Watershed. USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service will now combine the data collected from you by the National Agricultural Statistics Service with hydrologic, climate and soil databases to estimate environmental and management conditions for the area.
When compiled and published, this aggregated data will provide the farming community, the general public, legislators, and others involved in farming and environmental policy with a current account of the impacts of on-farm conservation practices throughout the surveyed watershed. Ultimately, this information will be used to maintain, modify and improve programs that assist you in planning and installing agricultural conservation practices.
As a reminder, you are guaranteed by law (Title 7, U.S. Code, and CIPSEA, Public Law 107-347) that your individual information will be kept confidential. NASS safeguards the privacy of all responses and publishes only aggregate data, ensuring that no individual operation or producer can be identified by anyone or any other agency.
To learn more about CEAP and when the 2013 NRI-CEAP report will be released visit www.nrcs.usda.gov/technical/nri/ceap.
Thank you for your continued support of [STATE] and U.S. agriculture.
Sincerely,
