Monthly Gas Processing and Liquids Report
Form EIA-915
PURPOSE
The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) Form EIA-915, Monthly Gas Processing and Liquids Report , collects inlet data of natural gas
volumes, the final disposition of all plant products including shrinkage due to fuel use and nonhydrocarbon removal, and end-of-month plant liquid
stocks from natural gas processing plants, fractionators, and gas sweetening plants. The data collected are used to estimate production of
marketed natural gas, dry natural gas, and natural gas plant liquids. A summary of the data will appear in the following EIA publications: Natural
Gas Monthly , Natural Gas Annual , Petroleum Supply Monthly , Monthly Energy Review , Annual Energy Review , Annual Energy Outlook , and the
EIA website.

REQUIRED RESPONDENTS
Form EIA-915 is mandatory pursuant to Section 13(b) of the Federal Energy Administration Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-275, codified at 15 U.S.C.
772[b]) and must be completed by the operators of all plants that extract liquid hydrocarbons from a natural gas stream (natural gas processing
plants) and/or separate a liquid hydrocarbon stream into its component products (fractionators). In addition, gas sweetening plants (plants that
extract CO2, H2S, sulfur, etc.) will be required to submit this form.
If your company operates more than one plant, a separate Form EIA-915 must be submitted for each plant. An EIA ID Number has been assigned
to each plant and must be included when filing this form. If you do not have an EIA ID Number, contact EIA at (202) 586-6284 and an EIA ID
Number will be assigned to you.
Note: It may be helpful to consult a plant manager, a plant supervisor, or a plant engineer when completing Form EIA-915 as some questions are
specific to plant operations.

DUE DATE
The monthly reporting period begins at 12:01 a.m. on the first day of the month and ends at midnight of the last day of the month. The data must be
submitted on a monthly basis within 25 days after the reporting period. For example, data reported for January 2013 must be submitted no later
than February 25, 2013. If the 25th day falls on a weekend or national holiday, the data must be submitted by the next business day.

RESUBMISSIONS
Submit the entire revised EIA-915 form if any of the following conditions apply:
• If any data in Parts 2-4 have changed more than +/- 5,000 Mcf in the past 3 months, including the current reporting month.
• If any data in Part 5 has changed +/- 5% in the past 3 months, including the current reporting month.
EIA reserves the right to request resubmissions as part of the data quality review process.

HOW TO FILE A RESPONSE
Form EIA-915 is collected using the Secure File Transfer System.
Instructions: Save this file to your desktop. Open the Excel file and enter the data. Resave the Excel file to your desktop before you send it by
Secure File Transfer. Submit the Excel file by going to the Secure File Transfer System website:
