The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)
Chief Evaluation Office (CEO) is seeking Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) approval to collect information from grant recipients
of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career
Training Grants (TAACCCT) through a survey of the first three
rounds of TAACCCT colleges and site visits to selected round 2 and
3 grantees. The online college survey will collect data on the
TAACCCT activities, especially around program development and
capacity building at community colleges, and the changes that
occurred because of the TAACCCT grant. The site visits will collect
more in-depth qualitative data on the TAACCCT grants via
semi-structured interviews with program coordinators, faculty, and
industry and employer partners, as well as focus groups with
students participating in the TAACCCT-funded programs.
