The information provided by private or
public entities of this application will enable the Departments of
Commerce and Justice to begin to determine whether an Export Trade
Certificate of Review should be issued in accordance with Title III
of the Export Trading Company Act of 1982. (15 USC
4011-4021).
The adjustment decrease of 9
responses and increase of 26 burden hours is due to enhanced
reporting and administration of historical cases. Adjustments made
to the Application for an Export Trade Certificate of Review form
ITA-4093 have been made to reflect streamlined case tracking needs,
updated website addresses administrating office locations and
updated acceptable application submission practices (see answer to
question 1 in the supporting statement). Similarly, the applicant
is now requested to email information in addition to physical
mailing address contact information.
