The collection of information requires
the owner/operator of a vessel that uses DP to maintain station to
retain a copy of the vessel's DPOs/DPOQs Certificate of Training,
and report DP incidents that result in a SMI or Emergency
Disconnect. Also requires a DPSAO to submit an application to
become a recognized DPSAO and submit DP system plans.
This is a new collection due to
a rulemaking, the Requirements for MODUs and Other Vessels
Conducting Outer Continental Shelf Activities with Dynamic
Positioning Systems NPRM [USCG-2014-0063; RIN 1625-AC16].
