The Family Policy Compliance Office
(FPCO) is the office responsible for administering the Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). The E-Complaint Form is
used by parents and students to submit complaints requesting an
investigation of alleged violations under FERPA. The department
will use the information to provide technical assistance to
educational agencies and institutions to improve their
understanding of and ensure their compliance with requirements
concerning student education records.
