Other changes:** This request is for a non-substantial change to collections related to the Project-Based Section 8 Program and contracts. 2502-0587 Project-Based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Addendum to renewal contract under Option One or Option Two for Capital Repairs and/or Acquisition---Post- Rehabilitation Rents at Closing. There are two amendments to the Section 8 contract that reflect the required information for an 8(bb) transaction (for transferring all or a portion of any remaining budget authority of a project-based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) Contract to one or more contracts under Section 8(bb)(1) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (the Act) where the existing HAP contract is terminated by mutual agreement).  They will not stand alone, but will be added to the existing contract.  We are not collecting any new information; it is a contract amendment to a document where we (HUD or the PHA) and the Owner, are a party.  The Owner does not need to submit any additional information nor do they have to fill in any additional forms; they will just sign the amendment.  This change is to establish form numbers for exhibits already being used in order to streamline this amendment for 8(bb). The forms should not display expiration dates, for ease of use for HUD partners. 1.Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Contract Part I for Section 8(bb)(1)  - form number HUD-52522a 2.Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Contract Part II for Section 8(bb)(1) – form number HUD-52522b 3.Amendment A to Project-Based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Contract Pursuant to Section 8(bb)(1) – form number HUD-93185a 4.Amendment B to Project-Based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Contract Pursuant to Section 8(bb)(1) – form number HUD-93185b Similar to Form HUD-93184, the above forms include the same physical inspection and financial reporting requirements. The amendment forms will correct for the unit count and rent schedule based on the 8(bb) transaction. This is normally done by amending the existing rent schedule Exhibit, which may be Exhibit 1, 2, or 3 of the original contract. This collection covers the same environment, has the same functions, uses the same or similar forms and collects the same information as the contract that owners are required to submit in order to enter into business agreements with the Department.
