JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE

SOUTHEAST REGION DEALER AND INTERVIEW FAMILY OF FORMS

OMB CONTROL NO. 0648-0013

The NMFS Southeast Region has reorganized its regulations, and would like to make the applicable changes for each individual information collection under OMB Control No. 0648-0013. There are also some changes to the IC titles. There will be no change to burden or cost.

“Gulf shrimp dealer reporting" (instead of shrimp and finfish trip interviews) - 50 CFR 622.51(b)

For "Quota managed fisheries: coastal fisheries, wreckfish and mackerel reporting": under form name, it should be "weekly" wreckfish dealer report (instead of monthly) and "daily" vessel report for runaround gillnet caught king mackerel (instead of weekly).

Delete separate IC for "wreckfish dealer no-purchase reporting" and combine into quota managed fisheries.

Next IC title should read "Gulf reef fish and red drum dealer reporting; South Atlantic snapper-grouper, rock shrimp, golden crab, and dolphin/wahoo dealer reporting; and Gulf and South Atlantic coastal migratory pelagics and spiny lobster dealer reporting (including no purchase reporting)".  Then under form name for this row it should read "weekly electronic dealer reports".  For the CFR citations, it should be 50 CFR 622.26(c), 50 CFR 622.91(a), 50 CFR 622.176(c), 50 CFR 622.203(b), 50 CFR 622.242(b), 50 CFR 622.271 (c), 50 CFR 622.374(c), 50 CFR 622.401(a)

Then the next IC title should read "Coral dealer reporting" and the CFR citation is 50 CFR 622.221.
