The NAT grant program provides
traineeship support for licensed registered nurses enrolled as
full-time students in a master's or doctoral nurse anesthesia
program. Traineeships will pay the cost of the tuition, books, and
fees, and the reasonable living expenses (stipends) of trainees.
The funds appropriated are distributed based on a formula. HRSA
uses the data from the application, and the NAT Tables to determine
the award, ensure programmatic compliance, and provide information
to the public and Congress.
