The collection of this information
enables DoD and the DIB private sector to protect DoD program
information that resides on, or transits, DIB unclassified
information systems. The requested information supports the
voluntary cyber threat information sharing and incident reporting
partnership between DoD and the DIB private sector. The information
provided contains technical details on network incidents and/or
unauthorized access into a DIB owned network. The information
enables DoD to analyze the information and collaborate with the DIB
in responding to and mitigating the cyber threat in a timely
manner.
