The comment that drivers falsify logs is interesting . It has
posted on truckers forums that drivers with EOBR's have
had their e-logs edited by people employed by the carrier
that are authorized to do so . The only thing that can't be
edited is driving time .
Carrier employees have changed on duty time to sleeper
berth or off duty to increase a drivers available hours under
the 70 hours in 8 days rule .
Some systems allow drivers to edit "errors" themselves .
EOBR's do not eliminate the possibility of log falsification
