Confirmation Email

Thank you for signing up for the research interviews for the NSF Early Career Doctorates Survey. Please note that your participation is voluntary. Also, once you have begun you may choose to skip any question or end the interview at any time.

We have scheduled your interview from [fill in with schedule date and time].

At the completion of the interview, you will receive $50 in appreciation for your time. The interview will be conducted in the Hill Building on RTI International’s* main campus, located at 3040 Cornwallis Rd., Research Triangle Park, NC. These links contain directions to RTI and a map of the RTI campus.

At the security gate, press the call button and tell the security officer that you are going to an interview in the Hill Building. Your interviewer will meet you in the building’s lobby. If for any reason you are running late or cannot make your scheduled time, please call [cell phone number of interviewer] or email ecds@rti.org.

Directions to RTI and the Hill Building:

From I-40 East

1. Take Exit 280 to Davis Drive.

2. Turn right onto Davis Drive at the top of the exit ramp.

3. Turn left onto East Cornwallis Road (at the traffic light).

4. Turn left onto West Institute Drive (at the traffic light).

5. At the security gate, press the call button and tell the security officer that you are going to an interview in the Hill Building.

6. Bear left where the road splits.

7. At the end of this road, take a right into the parking lot and park in one of the visitor spots.

8. The Hill Building is in front of you to the left. Your interviewer will meet you in the lobby.

From I-85 North

1. Take Exit 172 onto NC 147 (the Durham Freeway) South.

2. Take Exit 6 to East Cornwallis Road.

3. Turn left onto East Cornwallis Road at the top of the exit ramp.

4. Turn right onto West Institute Drive (at the traffic light).

5. At the security gate, press the call button and tell the security officer that you are going to an interview in the Hill Building.

6. Bear left where the road splits.

7. At the end of this road, take a right into the parking lot and park in one of the visitor spots.

8. The Hill Building is in front of you to the left. Your interviewer will meet you in the lobby.

From I-40 West

1. Take Exit 280 to Davis Drive.
