Early Career Doctorates Needed
for NSF Research Interviews
If you earned a Ph.D. or other doctorate degree in the last 10 years you’re
eligible!
$50 as an expression of appreciation for your participation

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is preparing for a national
survey of early career doctorates in all fields, including non-science
fields. Early career doctorates in all positions including postdocs,
faculty, and non-faculty will participate in the survey. The study will
provide NSF with information about the career paths and research
opportunities for persons who earned their doctorate or doctorateequivalent degree within the last 10 years.
In August and September 2013, RTI International*, a local research
organization in Research Triangle Park (RTP), will be conducting
one-on-one interviews with early career doctorates to evaluate survey
questions. The interview will take about 90 minutes after which
participants will receive $50 as an expression of appreciation.
