The Food and Nutrition Service administers the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program as mandated by the National School Lunch Act and the Child Nutrition Act. School Food Authorities and State Agencies must maintain records documenting compliance with nutrition standards for all foods sold in schools.
