Emergency first responders and other
licensees that provide radio communication in times of emergencies
are asked to voluntarily upload their point-of-contact information
to the existing Universal Licensing System (ULS) database. This
information will assist the Commission in providing quality
assistance to first responders in the event of an emergency. With
this information, the commission will be able to enhance its
targeted assistance to fist responders in the affected
area(s).

The Commission is requesting
OMB approval for an extension (no change in the reporting
requirement) and has reduced the number of respondents because of a
reduction of those respondents in 2009 and 2010. For 2013, we
estimate that 13,310 will add, delete and change their information
each year thereafter. Therefore, we have adjusted the burden to
reflect more accurate estimates.
