The adjustment decreases in
responses reflect the current actual number of
declarations/reports/ amendments/notifications/compliance reviews
received from industry and the actual number of inspections, during
CY 2012. The number of responses decreased from 816 to 779 = -37
(declarations/reports + inspections); burden hours decreased from
16,047 to 14,813 = -1,234; recordkeeping costs increased from
$41,740 to $51,302 (+9,560) based on an increase in the estimated
cost of office space.
