NFDC Web Portal forms are used to
collect aeronautical information, detailing the physical
description and operational status of all components of the
National Airspace System (NAS).
The NFDC's web portal is
used on a daily basis to collect and process Airport Data Change
and Airport Chart Changes requests that are received from public
use airport managers and/or their representatives and air traffic
control facilities. Change requests are dissemintated in compliance
with all required FAA rules and regulations to include the
Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control (AIRAC), i.e., 28
day and 56 day charting cycle effective dates and disseminated to
all NAS stakeholders. To ensure that flight safety is not
compromised within the U.S. National Airspace System, it is
imperative that the FAA receive approval from OMB to conduct this
collection of information as soon as possible.
