OMB is pleased
that OJJDP has agree to consult BJS to reassess the survey. OJJDP
should work with BJS to review and potentially update the sampling
frame; review and test the survey questions to ensure terms are as
defined as possible, instructions are clear, identify the extent
respondents are providing answers based on data sources or best
estimates, and if necessary revise the quesitons accordingly; and
assess nonresponse bias. OJJPD should complete these steps before
resubmitting this collection for approval, and should consult OMB
during this process as appropriate.
