The purpose of FNS-742A is to help
reduce administrative error during the application review process.
The information provided must describe the results of the second
review of applications, including the number and percentage of
reviewed applications for which the eligibility determinations
changed and a summary of the types of changes made.
This is a new information
collection associated with rulemaking for 0584-AE17, Independent
Review of Applications Required by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids
Act of 2010. This information collection will increase the OMB
inventory by 378 burden hours for reporting and recordkeeping due
to program changes to comply with the statutory requirements in
Section 304 of Public Law 111-296.
