Under the Proposed Order, hardwood lumber and hardwood plywood manufacturers would be subject to a mandatory assessment to fund a coordinated program to maintain, develop, and expand demand of hardwood lumber and hardwood plywood in the United States. A referendum will be conducted to determine if the industry is in favor of this program.
