Nonprofit organizations submit
information to HUD through Grants.gov to apply for funding to
develop and implement an ongoing training program for housing
counselors. HUD will use the information to evaluate applicants
competitively and then select one or more organizations to receive
funding to develop and implement the ongoing training program for
housing counselors.
After consultation with three
(3) grantees it was determined that the time for the new personnel
to process applications accounted for more time than previously
estimated. The current estimate is based on actual Housing
Counseling Training Program awardee experience with the Training
NOFA resulting in adjustments. Error in burden calculation was due
to the program being new during the previous submission. Also, the
HUD 96010- Logic Model, SF-LLL and HUD 2994a are no longer required
forms. These forms do not effect how the counseling program is
being administered.
