The grade crossing inventory, used by
States and railroads, reports changes to or closings of grade
crossings to update or add to the existing National Inventory
File.
The total burden for this
collection of information has increased by 4,399 hours from the
last approved submission. The increase in burden is due solely to
adjustments. ****Please see the table attached in the answer to
question number 15 of the Supporting Justification for a detailed
itemization of adjustments. Total adjustments increased the burden
by 4,399 hours and by 111,791 responses. The current OMB inventory
displays a total burden of 3,655 hours, while the present
submission exhibits a burden total of 8,054 hours. Hence, there is
an increase in burden of 4,399 hours. There is no change in burden
costs to respondents.
