Information requested of contractors
is specific to each contract and is required for Treasury to
properly evaluate the progress made and/or management controls used
by contractors providing supplies or services to the Government,
and to determine contractors' compliance with the contracts, in
order to protect the Government's interest.
Adjustment from 7,163 to 9,213
respondents is due to the change in the number of contracts
estimated to be awarded by Treasury based on FY 2011 data. The
estimated burden for each contract remains unchanged. The
adjustment in the total annual hours required from 171,912 to
221,112 is due to the increase in the number of contract
awards.
