The Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
requests revision of control number 1004-0114 to add proposed Form
38304, Affidavit of Annual Assessment Work to the collection
activity titled, "Annual FLPMA Docuemtns." The proposed form would
be part of a currently approved collection, and would not change
the requirements or the estimated burdens. However, we have
adjusted the burdens associated with Annual FLPMA Documents in
light of recent data -- the estimated number of responses annually
have increased, and therefore the estimated number of hours have
increased. The per-response hour burden (30 minutes) has not
changed.

and Management Act

The filing of Annual FLPMA
Documents is currently approved under control number 1004-0114. The
proposed form would be a program change that would assist eligible
claimants in documenting their annual assessment work. This program
change does not result in a burden increase or decrease. We have
adjusted the number of estimated annual responses for Annual FLPMA
Documents upward (from 5,854 to 6,316) in light of recent data.
This adjustment has resulted in an increase in the annual estimated
annual hour burden (from 2,927 to 3,158 hours). The per-response
time of 30 minutes remains the same.
