Intro3.

As the letter stated, part of the mission of the Economic Research Service is to strengthen the economy and vitality of rural communities in the US. This study is designed to learn, from a community perspective, how rural health care systems and economies affect each other, and how a community’s unique assets can be used to strengthen them both. The information will be valuable for evaluating current and future rural policies, both state-wide and nationally, and for local decision-making in rural areas.


[TOWN, STATE] is one of the communities chosen to participate in this groundbreaking research. During the next several weeks we will be talking with a variety of health care providers and community leaders in your area.
