Investment companies offering
scheduled program variable life insurance contracts are granted
exemptions from certain provision of the Investment Company Act of
1940 by Rule 6e.2. Investment companies offering scheduled premium
variable life insurance contracts may file on Form N-6EI-1 a
notification of claim of exemption from registration pursuant to
Rule 6e-2 or 6e-3(T) under the Investment Company Act of
1940.
