This study will examine whether and
how IGERT participants (Principal Investigators and trainees)
perceive the knowledge, skills or abilities outlined in the
supporting statement as important to conduct interdisciplinary
research, and how IGERT projects develop trainees in these areas.
In so doing, the current study focuses on the program's first broad
goal: to prepare Ph.D. students to conduct interdisciplinary
research.
