Anger
Film: My Bodyguard (1980)
Clip length: 4 minutes and 1 second
Clip Description: This bullying clip begins with a scene where two men are standing outside near some picnic tables. A fight is about to begin. Several people are in the background, including a blond-haired boy in the lower right hand corner of the screen. The man in the red tank top continuously shoves the other boy in the army jacket and messes with his clothing, trying to provoke him. The boy in the army jacket does not fight back but is clearly very angry. Many other boys are watching, also clearly upset. There are two “back up” friends of the fight instigator. The victim tries to leave the situation by getting on his motorcycle, but the bully stops him and punches him in the face, knocking him off his bike. The bully then damages the bike and then starts kicking the injured boy who is laying on the ground. One of his friends joins him in kicking the victim, while the third friend holds back someone trying to help. Finally, the bully rolls the victim’s motorcycle into the lake.

Sadness
Film: The Champ (1979)
Clip length: 3 minutes and 29 seconds
Clip Description: This clip begins with a boxer lying on a table in a locker room. The boxer says "Where's my boy?" A blond boy appears and talks to the boxer who says he always comes through and the child tearfully says "Yeah... The champ always comes through...". The boxer closes his eyes and dies. At this point, we see a side view of the dead boxer lying on the table. The camera then goes to the boy who is standing in front of a tall man. Only the man's torso is visible. He is wearing a towel around his neck and is holding the boy's shoulders. The boy is crying and saying, "Champ…I want Champ." The man replies, "Please TJ, listen to me. He's gone. He's gone, son. He's gone." The child, still crying, replies, "No. No. He's not gone, he's not, he's not." The clip ends with the boy backing away from the man.
