Subject Line: NSF study of postdocs – Participants needed

Dr. [Braby/Beck/Dunn],

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is preparing to conduct a national study of postdocs and other recent doctorate recipients in all disciplines. The study will provide NSF with important information about the career paths and research opportunities for individuals who have earned their Ph.D. or equivalent degree within the last 10 years. RTI International, a not-for-profit research organization in Research Triangle Park, is looking for postdocs to participate in interviews which will help inform the NSF study design. Participants will receive $50 as a token of appreciation.

Would you be able to post the following notice to the [NCSU/UNC/Duke] postdoc association listserv on RTI’s and NSF’s behalf? If you have any questions about the study or the research interviews, please feel free to contact me. Thanks for your consideration.
