The Manufactured Housing Installation
Program establishes regulations for the administration of an
installation program and establishes a new manufactured housing
installation program for States that choose not to implement their
own programs. HUD uses the information collected for the
enforcement of the Model Installation Standards in each State that
does not have an installation program established by State law to
ensure that the minimum criteria of an installation program are
met.

There are no changes to the
program at this time just a decrease in burden due to plant
closures, which resulted in decreased participation. Obtaining
license, training and selling installation information, are future
events. Once we get the program in place and the Installation
Program, we will revise the collection and update the required
burden.
