The purpose is to implement a data
collection process for a new semi-annual reporting for Government
Performance Results Act (GPRA) purposes for the Foreign Language
Assistance Program (FLAP) for Local Educational Agencies (LEAs).
These data are necessary to assess the performance of the FLAP for
LEAs in meeting its stated goals and objectives and report to ED's
Budget Service.

This submission reflects a
program revision to the previously approved form. Based on grantees
feedback, we made modifications to clarify the instructions,
however, these changes to the form did not affect burden. The
increase in 4,634 total annual burden is an adjustment primarily
due to correcting the burden hours to reflect the total annual
burden hours rather than estimated hours per response and from a
decrease of 13 respondents.
