The information is being used to
establish VA Veterans Health Information Systems Technology
Architecture (VistA) computer accounts for Veteran Service Officers
(VSOs) who have been granted Power Of Attorney by veterans who
have medical information recorded in VA electronic health
records.
VHA has adjusted the number of
respondents from 12,000 to 500, which has resulted in the reduced
amount of burden hours. This adjustment more accurately portrays
the number of respondents that we have received during the past two
years, since the inception of this program.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
