USC 44702 Name of Law: Issuance of certificates
The average number of new
applications has declined significantly. This could be due to a
number of factors, which might include changes to the economic
climate and more accurate FAA data collection. The reduction in new
applications and subsequent reduction in certificated operators has
reduced the overall cost to the public and the FAA.
