Feedback from the NAHMS surveys will
be used to improve the U.S. Animal Health Report, monitor the
NVSL's performance, and to evaluate customer/stakeholder
satisfaction in an effort to increase participation rates for other
NAHMS studies through the year 2014.
US Code:
7 USC
8301 Name of Law: Animal Health Protection Act of 2002
There is an adjustment decrease
in the number of -14,400 respondents and -861 burden hours due to
fewer surveys being distributed to producers and a downturn in the
economy. There is an adjustment of + 12,070 annual responses
because not enough annual responses were accounted for due to a
miscalculation in the number of annual responses for
non-respondents in the last submission. APHIS has corrected that in
this submission.
