*Parents and Teens Needed for Research Study *


RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, is looking for parents and their adolescents to provide feedback on questions used in a national study on alcohol, drug use and health care coverage. We are looking to test questions about alcohol use, drug use and health care coverage with both parents and their 12 to 17 year old adolescents. Military veterans are encouraged to participate. We are particularly interested in speaking with parents who have used prescription pain relievers (such as OxyContin® or Tylenol 3®) or stimulants (such as Adderall® or Ritalin®) or sedatives (such as Restoril®) or tranquilizers (such as Klonopin® or Ativan®) in the past 12 months. All responses will be kept confidential under federal law. No medical tests or examinations are involved. Both the parent interview and the child interview require approximately 60 minutes. Participation from only one parent is requested. The private interviews will be conducted at our offices in Research Triangle Park, NC. Adult participants who complete the interview will be given a $40 Visa gift card while adolescents will receive a $30 Visa gift card.

RTI International, a not-for-profit research organization, is looking for adolescents aged 12 to 17 to provide input on questions for a national study on alcohol use, drug use, and other health-related issues. All responses will be kept confidential under federal law. No medical tests or examinations are involved. Requires about 60 minutes. A parent or guardian must accompany the adolescent to the interview. Parents will not observe the interview or find out answers to any questions. The private interview will be conducted at our offices in Research Triangle Park, NC. Eligible participants who complete the interview will be receive a $30 Visa gift card.

Research Opportunity for Veterans


We are looking to interview veterans of the United States military about alcohol use, drug use and other health issues. All responses will be kept confidential under federal law. No medical tests or examinations are involved. Requires about 60 minutes. Veterans who have used prescription pain relievers (such as oxycodone), stimulants (such as Adderall®), sedatives (such as Lunesta®), or tranquilizers (such as Xanax®) in the past 12 months are preferred. The private interview will be conducted at our offices in Research Triangle Park, NC. This study is being conducted by RTI International, a not-for-profit research organization.
