The Logging Standard requires employers to assure operating and maintenance instructions are available on machines or in the area where the machine is operated. For vehicles, employers must assure that operating and maintenance instructions are available for each vehicle. The Standard also requires the employer to provide training to workers, and certify that they have provided this training.
