Rule 17a-4, requires broker-dealers to
preserve certain books and records for prescribed periods of time.
Rule 17a-4(b)(11) requires preservation of all notices relating to
an internal broker-dealer systems provided to the customers of the
broker or dealer that sponsors such internal broker-dealer
system.
Though there has not been any
change in the annual burden for this collection (3150 hours), the
previous collection burden information was entered incorrectly (315
hours instead of 3150 hours), and therefore in this collection,
there is an increase of 2,835 hours. The totals that were
previously entered as an annual cost burden previously is actually
allocated as an internal labor cost and was entered
incorrectly.
