Email Subject: 2010 Post-Election Voting Survey of Local Election Officials
Your Ticket Number: XXXXX
The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP), in coordination with the Defense
Manpower Data Center (DMDC), has selected your jurisdiction to participate in the
“2010 Post-Election Voting Survey of Local Election Officials.” The survey is now
available at this Web site: https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/dodsurvey Simply click on this
address to go directly to the Web site, or you can "copy and paste" this address into the
Web address box of your Internet browser (be sure to enter the Web address into the
address box, not into a search engine, such as Google). Once you have accessed the Web
site, you will need to enter the following Ticket Number to log on: XXXX
Although the survey is voluntary, the Post-Election Voting Survey is one of the only
tools we have to gauge the “Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act
(UOCAVA)” absentee voting process. We consider your information and your opinions
crucial to improving the program and the absentee voting process for our uniformed
service members and overseas citizens. Your responses will be kept private to the extent
permitted by law.
It is not necessary to complete the survey in one sitting. You can start and stop as
necessary. If you cannot access the Web site or if you have questions pertaining to the
survey, please call our Survey Processing Center toll-free at 1-800-881-5307, e-mail
LEOSurvey@osd.pentagon.mil, or send a fax to 1-763-268-3002. If you do not wish to
participate or to receive additional reminders about this survey, reply to this message. Be
sure to include your Ticket Number and the words, "Please remove me from this survey's
mailing list."
DMDC has set up a telephone line for anyone who wishes to verify the survey’s
legitimacy. Call 1-703-696-7427 for a list of current DMDC surveys. If you have any
questions about this survey, or for more information on the FVAP Post-Election Voting
Survey Program, contact Mr. Allan White (FVAP), who can be reached toll-free at 1800-438-VOTE, or by using the toll-free numbers on the FVAP website (www.fvap.gov),
or by e-mailing: vote@fvap.ncr.gov.
Thank you for participating in the “2010 Post-Election Voting Survey of Local Election
Officials.”
