Miscellaneous Actions
The COPS Office did not receive funding for hiring grants for a few years. Thus, the number of active hiring grants has declined as grants have been closed. The burden reduction reflects this decrease in active grants for which grantees are required to report progress. This collection also is being modified to no longer include reporting on COPS Making Officer Redeployment Effective (MORE) grants. All information regarding redeployment efforts for these grants will be collected under the collection number 1103-0090 MORE Closeout Report.
